Festival Update Sept 23

Wed, 23 September 2020

We have been overwhelmed with messages of support and solidarity since the announcement last Friday that Dublin will proceed to Level 3 of the Plan for Living with COVID-19. In the lead up to Friday and since then we have spoken to the theatre-makers, artists and venues involved in this year’s festival, discussing the ways that we can proceed with the planned programme. We don’t have all the answers yet, as it is our aim that the work and creativity that was at the heart of this years’ festival will be seen by a live audience in the near future but below is an update.

Patrons that are affected will be contacted and offered the option of a refund or credit to their customer account in the coming days. We would greatly appreciate if you would consider donating all or part of your refund to the festival if you are in a position to do so.

We look forward to giving you a live, virtual and warm welcome to Dublin Theatre Festival 2020.
