Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

Dublin Theatre Festival is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Dublin Theatre Festival follows many of the guidelines set out in WCAG 2.2 level AA to support accessibility, with ongoing efforts to enhance user experience across all content. Please be informed of the non-accessible content below:

Non-accessible Content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:

  • Third-party applications: Some third-party applications integrated into our site are not fully accessible. Despite our best efforts, we cannot control the accessibility of these elements.
  • PDFs authored prior to June 2025: Some older PDF documents and programme materials were created before current accessibility standards were adopted. Due to their volume, age, and original format, it is not feasible to retrospectively remediate all of these documents to meet accessibility requirements.
