Slingshot – Desk Space

Last November, we announced SLINGSHOT, a new space sharing initiative with 2 separate offerings, Slingshot Desk Space and Slingshot Residency. We are thrilled to announce the Slingshot Desk Space participants that will be joining us in Festival House.

Jo Mangan

Jo is a multi-disciplinary artist. As an independent practitioner and Artistic Director of The Performance Corporation she focuses on the creation of Theatre, Opera, and Immersive Tech experiences.

Cathal Cleary

Cathal Cleary is a theatre director from Roscommon who has extensive experience working in Ireland and the UK. Most recently he directed Padraic Walsh’s Blue Thunder which was part of the Dublin Fringe Festival 2023 and completed national tour.

Erica Murray

Erica is a playwright from County Limerick. This year her play The Loved Ones premiered at the Dublin Theatre Festival in a co-production with Rough Magic and The Gate Theatre.

Killian Kirwan

Killian Kirwan is an emerging theatremaker and spoken word artist who is passionate about the transformative power of words and increasing the accessibility of theatre. He is also a recent graduate of the MA Theatre Practice programme (UCD/GSA)

Dee Roycroft

Dee Roycroft is a multi-disciplinary artist writing about dislocation, nature and neurology. In 2023 she received an Arts Council Theatre Bursary and set up the Pit Collective -a community of professional artists exploring creative exchange
