Dublin Theatre Festival is delighted to announce our newly appointed board member, Donna Marie O’Donovan.

Willie White, Artistic Director & CEO of the festival said: We are thrilled to welcome Donna Marie O’Donovan to the board of Dublin Theatre Festival! As a passionate theatre fan and experienced fundraiser, we know she will bring invaluable insights and expertise to our work.

Donna is Head of Philanthropy at UNICEF Ireland. She has more than ten years’ experience in fundraising, shared value partnerships, and arts management at some of Ireland’s foremost non-profit organisations. She previously led on major donor fundraising at Concern Worldwide, and was part of the senior leadership team that launched MoLI – Museum of Literature Ireland in 2019. Prior to this, Donna Marie worked in fundraising and development at the Abbey Theatre, Ireland’s national theatre, and was International Project Coordinator for the Year of Irish Design 2015. She holds a MA in Cultural Policy and Arts Management from UCD and a BA Hons in Drama Studies and Art History from Trinity College Dublin.
