Thu, 01 October 2020
Each year, during the festival, we honour someone who has made a lifetime contribution to theatre at our gala event. Recent honourees have been Brian Friel, Sinéad Cusack, Cillian Murphy, Fergus and Rosaleen Linehan and Stephen Rea. Although 2020 has been a very different year, we didn’t want October to pass without recognising the career of another outstanding Irish theatre artist. We are delighted that Fiona Shaw has found time in her very busy schedule and agreed to be honoured virtually this year.
Fiona will participate in an ‘in conversation’ event online tomorrow, Friday 2 October at 6pm.
This event will be live streamed across our social channels.
